Fleet Configuration
Build and Compare Execution Strategies for Your Workflows
Fleet Configuration works in two steps. In the Configuration Studio you build one or more execution strategies by matching equipment to the steps of a workflow, using the demand or scale goals that apply — samples per batch, batches per week, working volume. Then you select the objective you are optimizing for. The Optimization Analyzer compares those strategies under Monte Carlo simulation in order to recommend a winner.
Configuration Studio
A workflow describes the science. A configuration describes the science on your bench — this protocol, on these instruments, in this room, run by these people.
Binding a workflow to a site's equipment, with unfilled steps reported as gaps.

- Change Reported at the Level That Changed
Optimization Analyzer
The capital decisions in a laboratory are made on estimates, and they are rarely validated. Does this sound like your lab?
Based on a rich set of first-class estimation criteria and demand goals, Virgil lets you run and compare multiple execution strategies under Monte Carlo simulation. This allows you to arrive at a statistically significant recommendation, and to identify alternatives when no clear winner can be determined. An execution configuration can be promoted to production only after it is reviewed and approved.
Comparing execution strategies against a demand goal, with the trade-offs between cost, time and capacity laid out.
